I recommend three steps to help manage your business cards, better. The idea is to be consistent and up-to-date and aim to strengthen the effectiveness of your network.
Step 1. Prioritise
Sort your contacts according to their potential importance to your network. Make three lists.
- List A: people you regularly interact with, like prospective clients.
- List B: possible references. You may send them an occasional newsletter.
- List C: Everyone else!
