Hi I have an oustanding loan of Rs. 14 lacs against a commercial property from HDFC Bank. The prepayment penalty being charged is 4% of the amount to be paid. do you think its a good idea to wait for further rate cuts in the near future or should I prepay part of it with a penalty ? Please advise. Thanks.
